Ken Priebe

Ken Priebe is the author/illustrator of two poetry collections (Gnomes of the Cheese Forest and Let There Be Owls Everywhere) and a brand new short story collection entitled The Ice Cream Truck at Midnight. Originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Ken has been an animator for 25 years with experience working on several short films for Scholastic/Weston Woods through Bigfott Studios, and has taught animation at several colleges. He's also written textbooks on stop-motion and teaches animation workshops & drawing classes for kids. Ken resides near Vancouver Canada with his wife and two kids, and enjoys music, movies, birdwatching, and hunting for treasures at libraries and used book shops.
